COLUMBIA, Mo. — University of Missouri Chancellor Brady Deaton has placed the student who was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 12, on “temporary suspension” pending the outcome of the student conduct judicial process. The suspension is a result of the arrest in reference to a spray-paint incident near Hatch Hall, a residence hall on the university campus.

When a student is placed on “temporary suspension,” he/she must undergo the student conduct judicial process. At the conclusion of that process the temporary suspension will be lifted and a final sanction imposed. The process can be found beginning on page 17 of the student “M” Book, the university’s official rules and regulations governing students:  http://getinvolved.missouri.edu/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/M-Book-2010-20112.pdf
