Media Advisory: Homecoming has the ‘Rhythm of the Roar’

WHAT: The Mizzou Alumni Association invites the Columbia community to join the “Rhythm of the Roar” Homecoming events. Thousands of Mizzou alumni will flood the campus to celebrate their tiger pride for the 106th annual homecoming celebrations. Events kicked off last week with the Homecoming Blood Drive, one of the largest college-based blood drives in the nation.  Full Story

Anchored by Saturday’s football game against the University of Idaho, the week leading up to the match holds events for the whole family. Everyone can enjoy the talents, local food and decorations around the Mizzou campus and downtown Columbia.  Full Story

This year’s inductees are Mizzou basketball coaching legend Norm Stewart and Panda Express founders Andrew and Peggy Cherng. The Mizzou Homecoming Hall of Fame honors high-achieving alumni who have exhibited excellence in their chosen field.  Full Story
